We stayed here for a full week to explore Patagonia, and the location was perfect - within walking distance of the main street yet in a quiet area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the seating area was a great place to relax and plan our travels. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the room itself was comfortable with plenty of space for our belongings.
I recommend this hotel.

the price was competitive, which was a plus. the room and common areas were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. I also appreciated the good kitchen facilities, although it would have been even better if there were more cooking equipment for the number of guests. I would definitely recommend De Las Manos to others based on my positive stay. Cons: Couldn't fault anything. 😊.

Good location, close to town, supermarket, and nature reserve. Nice communal areas and hot showers were provided.
Room was small and dark with poor ventilation. The bedding was old, thin, and not clean.

Stayed at a hostel in El Calafate recently, and it was like entering a cozy mountain retreat. The communal kitchens were like a foodie's dream, everything I needed to whip up a delicious meal. The heating kept me snug as a bug in a rug, and the daily housekeeping made me feel like royalty. And oh, the WiFi! It was like having a personal connection to the world, even in the middle of nowhere. With all these amenities, this place was the jackpot!

The communal kitchens at the hostel were a lifesaver during my stay. It felt like I had my own personal chef whipping up delicious meals every night. I was able to channel my inner Gordon Ramsay and create culinary masterpieces with the well-equipped kitchens. It was like participating in a cooking show, except without the pressure and judgment of a panel of judges. The experience definitely added a tasty touch to my stay.
Dirty bathroom.
